HH
Just kidding la.
Other halal places you may like to consider:

- Tai Tong @ Heritage Hotel
- Yum Yum Curry Fishhead @ Persiaran Greenhill
- Assam House @ Osborne St/Greentown
- Thai - Koh Samui @Cowan St, Golden Elephant @ Ipoh City Hotel
- Japanese - Kanpeii(?) @ Jln Lim Bo Seng(near Waller Court) & Moritomo @ Kinta City
- Italian - Italia Mia in Bandar Sunway
-There's another new Western restaurant called Paprika Cafe in Bandar Baru Tambun opened by an Aussie & Malay couple. They tried to spam this forum with their ad once, which I deleted. Anyone tried the place?

Coming from Oz, you wouldn't be so keen to go for western cuisine I guess?

Chinerama
Tried Monde Brasserie which you recommended last time. Food was so-so but service sucks. Biz there wasn't good. Indulgence is no more the same after moving to a much bigger premises in Tambun Rd and price is cut-throat.

hello, may i know where is Monde Brasserie and Citrus?

i am not sure about 1919, yum-yum, tai thong, kampai (not kanpeii, right?) and moritomo? are they halal or merely pork-free? can anyone confirm? if halal, then i'd love to go eat there. takkan lah eat at sushi king only everytime, right.

but i have eaten at 1919, yum-yum and kampai before he he.. at the time, i wasnt particularly concerned.

so far, i liked caterbest, assam house, koh samui and 1919. i missed the Straits food though (somewhere near yum-yum's area)..

would like to try:
bonda, pakeeza, cheng ho, italia mia, moritomo, indulgence and paprika cafe.

last time when indulgence was at its old place, they said that it used to bring over jazz musicians from kl. do they do it still? nice ka?

Indulgence - not keen, Kris and agree with you about their high prices. One of their owners or relatives, whatever, I wasn't paying that much attention, her daughter goes to the same chinese school as mine and she was trying her hardest to sell me Indulgence.

Assam House -last time I was there, a crockroach ran across the floor of the restaurant Kar Liew wor

Yum Yum is nice and I do like that.
Tai Thong-so so. Maybe because I just don't like Heritage Hotel, so maybe bias

i tried paprika... i didn like their dishes.. tastes kinda immature.. can i say that about food and cooking? well that's really what i think.. the cooking is kinda immature. if compared to citrus i'l opt for citrus anytime.

citrus is along jalan tambun, on the right side if coming from jusco. at the bandar baru tambun area. the creme brulee is to die for.. Indulgence punya creme brulee just had it a few days ago.. tak best

italia mia in bandar sunway although looks very cozy, has good service and probably serve good food but unfortunately it's not halal. they serve pork.

i didn know yum yum n some other japanese restaurant halal too.. hmm.. should go one of these days

oo.. one more thai restaurant that i kinda like. Golden Elephant of Ipoh City Hotel. Serves thai food but concept different than of koh samui. Yea.. i have mentioned this in the forum before...
