Default Some dude's opinion on Indian Muslim restaurants

From the Edge:

Dear Food Expert,
Something is going wrong with our mamak restaurants. They're not as good as they used to be.

Foodie via email

Food Expert reply:
Our mamak restaurants are becoming filled with Indians from India. I recently ordered a plate of mee goreng mamak and the man confirmed my order by saying, "bee bobing babak". Oo-kay. And then I asked for a limau ais kosong and he confirmed, " beebo bice bobong". By miracle, I got what I ordered but my mamak cook was a Indonesian girl and it tasted awful Kalimantanese. I think that mamak restaurants are goingf thru a state of transition and within 10 years, it won't be possible to get the traditional mamak taste and experience any more. It'll be like eating in Singapore.

I found this to be vely farny.

hahhaha....you think after most of their restaurants are being public listed...you expect them to go behind the stove to make mamak mee goreng??

Many of my friends have opened up mamak restaurant without they being real 'mamaks'..
