Cool

Foon,
Picture looks great. Reminds me of some similarities driving down CA's coastal highway #1 along the Monterey and Big Sur area. Is that right, Kris?

Tomling, I agree with you. I too find that Perth is boring if compared with Melb but if you go out of Perth, there are some interesting places.

H2, the picture was taken last month and I was standing at the edge of the cliff to have this view. Scary but it was too pretty to miss!

OT, it was a shot along Grean Ocean Road. Just look carefully, you might be able to spot a bit of the road in the picture.

Will load more when I've the time.

Foonie
That's a pretty shot..kinda relaxing just looking at it. I like the colours of the sea, the turquoise and blue merging with the sky.
Don't be so kedekut la, one picture where got enough?

OT
You are right, there is remarkable resemblance between Foon's pic of the GOR and the Big Sur in California(pic below). You should know that stretch very well since you told us about your family trips to your favourite retreat at Morro Bay, a bit further south. We managed to see the sunset when driving through the place, the scenery was unforgettable. The area is quite foggy though. We stayed the night at a small place nearby called Lucia before proceeding to visit the Hearst Castle at San Simeon the next morning.

Tom
You got bored with Perth so soon? I think it's a nice place, I quite like it. Its kinda slow-paced and not too big, but like OT said there are advantages of living in mid-sized cities. I think the greatest advantage is that it is nearest to Bolehland, being a mere 5+ hrs flight away. After you have experienced winter in Melbourne I think you would change your mind about Perth! I recommend you make a trip to Rottnest Island opposite Fremantle, it's a beautiful place. Cyling around the island is great fun.

Melbourne skyline. The tallest building in the picture is Rialto Towers (251m) and it has been the tallest building in Melbourne and Australia since 1985. Railto Towers consist of 2 towers linked to become 1, in the picture, the lower building right next to the tallest building forms part of the towers too.

However, at the end of 2005, Rialto Towers will lose its title of tallest building in Melbourne and Australia when Eureka Tower (297m) is completed (the building in blue which is under construction in the picture below).

Thanx Foon,

That was great ... Sure hoped I was in the digital edge when I was in Melbourne. Got some pretty good pixs but they are all on prints.

Were you there on holidays or something?
