santau is some sort of voodoo stuff. something to do with black magic things.
cerita santau?? are you reffering to the upcoming local movie dukun ?
its a movie about Mona Fandey, a bomoh who murdered a state assemblymen before cutting him into 18 pieces 13 years ago.

Just heard it from a friend today.
Apparently one mamak stall in Ipoh already kena. One person died. There's this girl going about mamak stalls to santau guys (all guys generally).

One version of the story said that she was raped (probably gang-raped).

What I usually heard is about people that got "santau" ,meaning to "charm" a person & to gain their love & affection.

U mean when the food at a particular eatery shop is being "santau", then people will keep coming back for their food & worst died .......is that so?? Are people that desperate for the sake of business...

Previously I remembered there was a such a big hoo-hah on the spice "kas kas" that being used in curry at all those Mamak foodstalls. It seems people will get addicted to the food and so forth.

P/S

Out of curiosity, I checked out with my brother on this story. He told me that he had heard rumours on this from his office colleagues. It seems that it is not the cook, shop owner or the proprietor who cast the "charm/spell" on the food and that make people died when eating the food.

It is caused by those people who practices black magic and they just wanted to test out their so-called power and they simply prowl on any innocent people. Strange is that why they choose eateries places, of all places?????? Maybe it's easier for them to cast "spell" on food, something that people will consume and go straight into their bodies??
