Question Is Hazelnut coffee real hazelnut or just artificial flavour?

Hi, a friend asked me about this, is hazelnut coffee real hazelnut or just artificial flavour? Does anyone know the answer?

I read that the hazelnut flavor syrup is poured onto to coffee beans after the roast, and agitated to provide an even coating. BTW flavor syrups are concentrated and strong, geared towards engaging the drinker's sense of smell as much or more than taste, and as such are intensely aromatic and...lingering.

Do you mean it is man made flavour and is not natural?

Exclamation Starbuck's hazelnut syrup is synthetic flavor!

I noticed from a post on the net, the Starbuck's hazelnut syrup is synthetic flavor. Here is the link of the content.

Personally, I think most are using artificial flavoring. For myself, I tend to either drink my coffee black or add real cinnamon powder for added flavor and nutrients.
