Default Where do you see Malaysia in 10 years from now?

According to a report, Malaysia's GNI per capita (Gross National Income) is US$6420, on par with Gabon, Botswana and Romania. Way behind Singapore with a GNI of US$32340.

Isn't this alarming? Considering the real world situation, Malaysia's economy is now approaching those of the basketcase nations of the third world. What is making the matter worse, is the nation's leaders are seemingly oblivious to this situation. Happily pillaging the national assets for their own gain (mercs, overseas holidays, villas in Europe, Pradas, etc).

My question to you folks is this: Where do you see Malaysia in 10 years from now? Do you think we can turn this country around, no matter how slight, or at least halt its decline? Over to you......

This issue is too difficult to discern but if the present trend continues without change then we are f..ked. We may even see our women going oversea to work as maids.

This is so obvious in the 70s & 80s during the golden timber era in East Boleh---the more beautiful ones came from Ipoh.

But I do not know now.
