I do not know about other people, I find that banana leaf rice, the curries n veg taste a bit different from the nasi kandar.

Must ask cooking sifus . I think the Indian uses less coconut milk than the nasi kandar.

Nasi Kandar serve on plate and usually much smaller portion. Banana Lead's curry rice usually comes with unlimited adding of rice and vege, you just pay for the basic price + the curry meat that you order. Its curry favour and taste totally different, with lots of Indian's smell

Near Yin Loong White Kopi (20th Storey Flats), on the same road with Yin Far Tim Sum.

Talking of Indian smell, yeap Indian restaurants also smell differently compared to a mamak shop.

Even when I go to Indian barber shops also got a similar type of smell. .

My family used to like Kalai's too bus since its change in ownership, it isn't as nice as before. We stopped going there.
