Hmmm..... How much is that in RM?

If memory serves me right, it's SGD1.8k or RM4.2k respectively in SG n MSia.

Your FIL is most likely to be correct.

But in one restaurant, we quequed for 40 minutes.

Not sure of the conversion rate for the camera but it comes with a 4GB chip.

Has anyone used the D90 for that purpose ?

I have read the camera reviews of Nikon D90 and you are right that it has live view video facility. Hopefully, it work as a web cam as well.

You'd run into the problem of the sensor overheating. LiveView shuts down after a certain time period to prevent the sensor getting too hot. There's also no way to get the video out of the camera over USB which means you either use the low quality composite video output or spend a fortune doing HDMI capture. You're better off finding an old mini DV camcorder for cheap and using that as a firewire webcam
