Default Malay words and pronunciation

Malay which is synonymous with the Malay peninsular is the mother tongue of the East coast states. There are no communities of Java, Bugis, Minangkabau etc. that you can find in other states. One can find the same word being used in Kelantan, Terengganu and many parts of Pahang even down to some parts in Johor. For example chilli is lada not cabai as it's called here. Taugey is cambah which is the same word as germination. Of course, television and the internet have changed many of the words spoken there. The younger generation most likely use chilli and taugey. The pronunciations as famously known differ a lot.
