well , take a look at this deduction

Moores law says :

"Every 18 months , speed of processors will double"

Bill Gates says :

"For every speed increase , my software will built to fully utilise the speed."

so Windows has advance from 3 million lines of codes to now which is written in C and C ++ with approx 55 million lines of codes.

Neumann's Law says:

" The number of bugs increase as the square of the total lines of codes "

so (55 million ) X (55 million)

obviously, security vulnerabilities is proportional to the number of bugs,

there are 3025 Million bugs in windows,

Metcalfe's law says :

" value of the network is the square of number of people using the network"

value of network = 300 Million X 300 Million
= 90000 Million

take note that ,

Evan's law says :" Security risk is a product of security vulnerability and the value of network "

that makes the security risk of our computer when plug online to

(55 M X 55 M) X (300 M X 300 M )

= a remarkable 1735000000000000 !

isnt it amazing that so far .. no big havoc has been created eventhough the security risk is so high?

isnt mankind good and kind after all? heehee

Thumbs up

Security industry is big business. Strongly agree.

But no matter how hard the experts try, there won't be any 100% secure system as long as human is involved. Unless we are able to get rid of all the evilness of human nature.

but humans are still generally kind, if not, the world would be in chaotic order by now.. based on the fact that windows has so many bugs...
