Post movie goers?

Hi all,
Just sometime lite ...

Any avid cinema goers from Ipoh ?You know ,who makes a point to catch a good movie to unwind (and not just for datings, please!)
My recent cine trips were for :
Bewitched (bored to tears)
Dark waters (so so0
Red Eye (not bad -look out for Cillian Murphy)
Flightplan (ahh,Jodie Foster revived)

Am looking forward to :
H. Potter and the GOF (well,it has turned into an annual tradition, after LOTR )
Chronicles of Narnia(check out its trailer)
and also maybe,Wallace and Gromit-curse of the were rabbit.. well,to humour oneself after a hard day's work!

Hey,maybe Ipoh forumers should host an impromptu gathering one day for kindred souls of the celluloid at the cinema, instead of kopitiams, pubs ....just a thought

I used to go to cinemas a LOT.. and I do mean a lot. I used to have an unlimited card(back in uk) where i pay 10quids every month and watch anything anytime..

Nowadays I'm more picky of the movies I watch at the cinema. I choose movies with have good action and great cinematography.. also great soundtrack.. eg LOTR, Star wars.. and as for the other movies.. I just wait for the dvd to be released and watch it at the comfort of my own home.. (think, can go to the loo anytime, can pause and get some snacks from the fridge)

Anyways.. CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH HARRY POTTER!!!! I love reading the books and I really look forward to watch all harry potter movies. If there's a plan to go watch harry potter together.. I'll join u guys for sure!

well, since everybody is talking about ssstreching the ringgit,it's must be better to be selective of what you watch with the RM 8 per ticket nowadays . No point going for mediocre fares that have repeated storylines...but still a real good 2-hour escapism if one can get hold of strong soundtrack, fantastic effects ,good storyline-beats sitting in the living room . Really miss the LOTR trilogy....

Is it only me or are the movies getting unoriginal. Seems like they got no ideas for new movies these days.. that's why people prefer to watch things like lotr, harry potter, and certain remakes. (Even remakes can be very bad too - charlie n chocolate factory n bewitched to name a few). The last movie I watched was flightplan I think the plot is quite good but the x-factor is not there. I dun feel like encouraging anybody elso to go and watch it.

Not surprising, Bolehland is the largest producer and exporter of pirated vcd and dvc's mar. Also top in credit card fraud if I'm not mistaken.
