They substitute the 'bak'(pork) with 'chick' (chicken) lor.
There's also seafood-kut-teh now.

Yes there are also seafood-kut-teh. I came across this many years ago in Sandakan-Sabah. At first I did not like it but after a few rounds, I tot this SKT was great. This SKT comes with another bowl of vegi soup.....boiled " Han choi"........

I see....that's supposedly the oldest residential area in Ipoh wor. Nice quiet area, conveniently located, almost within town centre. I see that a lot of the houses which must be at least 60 yrs old have undergone renovation or reconstruction. Can do lots of shopping at the Store nearby lor?

One of the medicinal herb ingredient in BKT is Tong Kwai. Was told it isn't good for males to consume in excess. But for females, good. Is that any side effects on males besides its heatiness?
